Beautiful look and UI. HAS ISSUES

Really impressed how they keep improving this app on a regular basis

Update: lots of great improvements. Simply put this is far and away the most elegant calendar app available.

Still my favourite calendar UI. Devs and Support are very responsive. Updates are coming out regularly. Even though there are other calendars that also have excellent functionality, this one is more fun to use every day.

Update: search is available via spotlight and the new month calendar with heat map dates is great. Now 5 stars and the coolest calendar app available for iOS.

Update: this latest update is a great improvement primarily in calendar syncing and increasing the forward time frame to 18 months and backward to 12 months. Other minor improvements are all good. Still have to have text search on this type of Calendar (agenda) in order to quickly find events more than a few weeks ahead. If it had search it would be 5 Stars

Update: Ive increased rating to 3 stars. I received a response from the devs for this app indicating a fix for the birthdays issue is being addressed. For some this may already be a 5 star app but I really need search and the ability to schedule an event more than a year from now. That plus a widget would make this 5 stars for me. Still the nicest calendar UI that I have seen.

Also a bit overpriced. I have a number of calendars and had high hopes for this one. First the bug - no way birthdays work for this. Birthdays show up on all my other calendars including iCloud on browsers. My iCloud calendar settings are correct and BDs show up on Fantastical, iOS, Google Calendar, iCloud but not this one.
Second, this calendar only goes to the end of the previous month for the following year. I guess they dont expect you to make an appointment more than a year from now! This should be pointed out in the description. Also at this time cannot go back before May 1 2015 which is really bad.
This calendar desperately needs search. With the agenda type format if you have a meeting say 6 months from now but dont know the exact date you have to scroll through 6 months which means a LOT of flicks. Makes it very difficult to find past or future appointments.
Very dissatisfied but there is potential if they can pay attention to the functionality
