Spotty performance

Was pleased when the daily briefings were added but unfortunately they seem to pop up in notifications at random. I have it set up for daily at 8am and yet to receive it 2 days in a row. Also despite repeated attempts through the app to notify the developers that the badge icon set to the date will not advance unless you actually open the app. I have the app fresh turned on but still no luck . Unlike the apple calendar which automatically updates to the correct date
